Painter’s Tavern opened its doors in October of 1985 in the old Storm King Theater. We’ve since moved across the street to what was formerly the Cornwall Inn.
We blend local seafood, meat, and produce to create something to please every palate. Painter’s menu changes seasonally and we have new Dinner Specials every other week.
To complement your meal, choose a wine from our extensive and elegant list (available by the bottle or glass) or one of more than 100 beers from around the world. Enjoy an after-dinner drink in our Gallery bar, which features premium liquors in a quiet atmosphere.
Stop by for dinner or join us for Saturday and Sunday lunch. Painter’s Tavern is easy to find and is just minutes from West Point, Storm King Art Center, Brotherhood Winery, and historic Newburgh. If you’re not from the Hudson Valley, plan to stay the night in one of the rooms at the Inn.
